Stir Fry

On Thursday the food committee made a tasty stir fry it was full of vegetables out of our school's garden YUM,YUM,YUM. We cleaned the vegetables then cut them into little pieces. Sarah and Danielle cooked them in sweet honey sauce with udon noodles. It was delicious. We served it to everyone,we even went for seconds, even thirds we could of had more but teachers had the rest.

Camp Sutton

In the last week of term 3 Room two went off to camp. Finding geckos was cool. Lifting up rocks to reveal the the rare nz gecko.Unfortunatly we had to hop into the van and head back to Camp Sutton for yummy juice and food.Maybe board games to.We also went on the Rail Trail from Daisy Bank to Hyde. At Hyde Cafe we all had a delicious hot chocolate to warm us up.What fun Camp Sutton was.

Pajama Party

The juniors had a mouth watering cheesy pizza and a delicious hot chocolate with melting marshmallows. After that they all payed board games and got toothpaste and toothbrushes they went home at 6:30pm they were there for 1 hour and a half. Mrs laban read them a story the room ones enjoyed it or should we say they just  loved it.

The Shade

Yeah we all got our new sunhat for summer. Perfect size for everyone. It was just in time for our sunny days when we need protection from the boiling hot sun. Thanks Ravensdown for the awesome sun hats we all look wonderful.

Pollution

Justin from the Dunedin City Council or the DCC came to our school to talk to us about pollution,  and saving our earth.
He talked about how we can prevent pollution from happening. One way we can prevent pollution is to put up fences around streams, creeks and rivers on farms. He also talked about saving rivers. We can prevent pollution by not cutting down trees right down to the edge of the river bank.
We all learned a lot about water and how it is polluted.
